What is Moodle?
Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) is an open source software package used in the creation and delivery of Internet-based courses and web sites.
A "Moodler" is anyone who uses Moodle.

***Wilkes Community College is in the process of transitioning from the Blackboard course managment system to Moodle. Spring 2012 and Summer 2012 will be our pilot semesters for our new learning management system. Both Blackboard and Moodle will be used during these two semesters. Beginning Fall 2012, Moodle will be our primary portal for distance learning course delivery.***
